When planning a kitchen or bathroom, can anything be done at the design phase to help with sustainability issues? We know that building material and product choices are very important, but what design elements help create a “slow home” that is easy on the environment?
Use our old kitchens as long as possible??
We will be digging deeper into sustainability and design at #kbtribechat on Wednesday, April 10th from 2 to 3pm eastern time. Share your best design tips as well as favorite eco building materials and products for creating new, environmentally responsible kitchens and bathrooms.
We can make a difference!
The kbtribe will be living it up in Las Vegas on Jan. 23, 2013, as we report on new products, hot trends, top booths and more from the floor of the 2013 International Builders’ Show. Industry friends can “TweetUp” with fellow chat attendees in the @FormicaGroup booth (C5047) while those unable to attend the show will receive a comprehensive show overview during the 2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PST #kbtribechat.
Formica Corporation, IBS 2012 Booth
Regular #kbtribechat attendees will scour the IBS show floor in search of hot new products and innovations on which to report during the hour-long IBS overview. Chat topics will include:
Top new products
New “green” products from the show
Colors/finishes trending at the show
Universal design elements at the show
Friends who will be participating from the show floor should alert @kbtribechat so that you can be added to the chat’s group Pinterest boards (created specifically for IBS reporting). Participants snapping pictures at the show prior to #kbtribechat, please remember to note exhibitor name and booth number. (If you can inquire on a Twitter handle so that we can “mention” them during the chat, even better!)
So, join the kbtribe and @FormicaGroup … we pledge that what happens in Vegas (at IBS) will not stay in Vegas!
Here is the transcript for this chat.
